Port Authority – Project S Shed
Working with Contractors Sir Robert McAlpine,
Stancold installed over 20,000m² of PIR and Mineral
Fibre Insulated Panelling in just 8 weeks. The insulated
structure forms part of an extension to one of the Ports
Fruit Terminals and will be utilised as a chilled holding
facility for oranges.
The complex comprises 8 chill rooms, all to be maintained
at +2°C. In addition Stancold also installed Mineral
Fibre boundary firewalls providing a fire rating of
1-hour and 15 Automated Sliding Doors.
