Co-op Distribution Centre Thurrock
The Co-op operate nearly 1800 food stores accross the UK and are the market leader in top up food.
Working with Fitzpatrick Contractors Ltd and Michael Sparks Associates Stancold have played an integral part in the construction of the Co-op’s new 24,000m2 regional distribution
centre. The centre comprises chilled, ambient and freezer areas for perishable foods as well as offices and a plant room.
Stancold utilised 100mm / 150mm PIR and mineral fibre white foodsafe fire rated panels to construct these areas and installed
over 60 doors including rapid rise, sliding, personnel and fire doors. The project is on target for completion in November 2005.
