RAF Cottesmore is the core component of Joint Force Harrier, and is currently home to the three operational RAF Harrier Squadrons: 1(Fighter) Squadron, 3(Fighter) Squadron and IV(Army Cooperation) Squadron. The base is also home to 504 (County of Nottingham) Squadron, Auxiliary Air Force.
