Night to remember for Starfrost
This year saw the 23rd Food Processing Awards highlighting the most innovative products, technologies and companies in the food industry. Known as the "Oscars of the Food industry", the Food Processing Awards were once again well attended by many respected luminaries. This year’s ceremony was a glamorous affair, and the winner was announced amid much fanfare.
For the second year running Stancold sponsored the awards, and presented the gong for Technological Development of the Year to Starfrost, for their innovative three-zone spiral freezing system. Thanks to a unique development in freezing technology, it offers extended operation by allowing long running times between defrosts, minimising equipment downtime, increasing daily production, boosting efficiency and reducing costs.
