Sub-Divisional 60-Minute Fire-Rated Partition Wall

Patrick Nicholas Properties

Background

After seeing our recent successes on our website, Stancold were approached by Patrick Nicholas Properties as they sought to undertake key renovations within their existing warehouse in Bracknell.

Process

As part of our client’s project, they required a sub-dividing partition wall to lease some of the building space to a new tenant. Ready to move in, a contractor that could mobilise quickly and work efficiently on site was paramount.

As a standard feature of Stancold’s firewall contracts, a site survey was carried out, which identified anomalies that were successfully settled prior to the installation start date.

Project Delivery

Stancold completed the design, supply and installation of a 60-minute firewall to split the space into two, across the width of the unit.

This included working around the existing steelwork structure of the building to vertically install Eurobond Firemaster panels, accompanied by firestopping to the joints and head of the wall for maximum fire integrity.

Our LPS approved installation team remained spatially aware due to other existing furniture within the unit, but worked efficiently to install the package in just one week, adhering to our client’s tight timescale and budget considerations.
