Stancold had a busy end to 2019, where the team travelled down to the South coast to complete the construction of a flush cleanroom for a herbal medicine manufacturer.
After being let down by another contractor, Stancold, a Puracore approved partner, were approached by the client and immediately began to organise quotations, site surveys and project meetings with our cleanroom project team, to ensure that the client’s imminent start date could be achieved. Stancold worked quickly to confirm all design and construction details for the works.
The project itself involved the installation of two flush cleanrooms with a shared airlock, located within the client’s warehouse beneath a mezzanine floor. Stancold’s bulkhead detail increased the height of the cleanroom at the point where the mezzanine finished to fully utilise the available space. The facility is constructed using the Puracore Aluminium Honeycomb system, achieving a flush finish throughout, and is accompanied by a number of flush vision panels and semi-flush doors. Cleanroom lighting and vinyl flooring were also included in our scope of works, where the flooring was coved flush with the wall panels on a 100mm high recessed base.
Ensuring an efficient turnaround was the key consideration for this project, which went hand-in-hand with our excellent working knowledge of the Puracore cleanroom system and allowed us to leave site with a satisfied client.
