Satisfying the latest Health and Safety requirements is a priority for the team at Stancold, so we are very pleased to have once again achieved three independent certifications.
SafeContractor, a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.
Gemma Archibald, Director of Alcumus SafeContractor said: “Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. Stancold’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector”.
We have also gained accreditation to CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). Which sets the industry benchmark for health and safety, and by reviewing our safety policy and associated procedures, processes, arrangements and records this confirms that we comply with all their health and safety requirements.
Finally, the SMAS (Safety Management Advisory Services) Worksafe certificate. This means we have met the core SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) criteria set out by the HSE and other similar accreditation schemes.
The three accreditations not only demonstrate how seriously we take Health and Safety, it also shows that we have an effective management system in place guaranteeing that any work that we are involved in is, as far as is practical, carried out with no risk to health and safety.
